QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

  1. Can I get into the "KNOTHOLE" Anaheim's Angel Stadium's lounge for the Rich and Famous? YES - YES! This year, the winners of the three Anaheim rounds can step past the velvet ropes
  2. Where exactly does this money go? After the ebay and paypal charges, EVERY DOLLAR collected goes toward the daily expenses associated with the race day operation of the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center. Asterisk provides a fully functional, 18-wheel Medical Center, as well as the salary and expenses associated with the Physicians. The remainder of expenses - supplies, staff salaries and travel expenses for nurse and trainers, driver and medical equipment are dependant on donations. The Asterisk Superpass auctions are run by volunteers and publicity is donated. You see your dollars on the track when you see the staff running to our riders. The ASTERISK SUPERPASS PROGRAMS have provided over $75,000 toward our fee-free emergency care facility. Thank You!
  3. Is this tax deductible? The Asterisk Supercross Superpass is NOT an IRS deductible charity effort. The value received in products makes it more of a purchase. But, you can get a 100% TAX FREE deduction for Cash donations or contributions if you donate through the Women's Motocross & Supercross Foundation (WMXF). Let them know the donation is directed toward the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center and they will send it on to us.
  4. Will I get to meet the rider? We cannot guarantee that you will be able to meet or spend time with the featured rider. Circumstances change, weather, health, publicity commitments, etc. Our donations are from their gear manufacturer, with the rider approval. Most previous Superpass winners have been able to meet and take a photograph with the featured rider.
  5. Gear – What is the story? (Real or Replica? Autographed or not? New or Used?) All Gear is authentic and manufactured specifically for that rider as part of his apparel contract. Gear is sized to the rider specifications, NOT the winning bidder. We don’t always know more than that. When a gear manufacturer or rider asks how can they help us, we don’t start making demands. If it is signed great, if not we will do our best to get you an opportunity to have it signed yourself. Same goes for new or used. We have received the gear right off the rider and other times, it’s still in the package.
  6. Tire – Can I get a gift certificate or pick my tire up at my local dealership? Sorry, you have to pick it up at the race. Again, our donation comes from the professional racing department and is only available at the event.
  7. Extra spots – What if, last minute, I need an extra spot? We are very sorry, but the contributions we receive are limited and have already been allocated for the season. No exceptions can be made; no additional tickets are available to us. The pass is for TWO only; this includes the hospitality areas, press box, track walk, hospital tour, etc.
  8. Press Box Seating – No guarantee of actual seating, in fact unlikely. This pass entitles you to Press Box Access, not a chair. Many of the Press Box areas are small. Seating is extremely limited and usually unavailable after the track walk. The visibility, sound, and available onscreen statistics makes standing worthwhile, but if you are spending a day at the Supercross and the weather allows, it is always great fun to sit in the rider’s area. This is open seating for industry only and nothing beats the enthusiasm of the brothers, sisters and friends of the rider’s cheering them on.
